Together we celebrate 175 years of Royal Koopmans
In 1846, Uilke Klazes Koopmans had a bold idea. Wanting to stand on his own two feet, he borrowed 1550 guilders from his family and bought a horse mill. He was the very first 'Pioneer in grain'. That was exactly 175 years ago this year and we would like to celebrate this anniversary together!
Online broadcast: Sustainability in motion
Besides entrepreneurship, cooperation and innovation, sustainability is a hot topic. For 175 years we have been working on tasty and healthy food, that is what we want to achieve with bakers & food producers in the next 175 years too. Is sustainability a must for tasty & healthy food in the future? How can you market sustainability successfully? And how do you make the difference between greenwashing and added value? Together with all links in the grain chain, we want to set the movement towards sustainability in motion. To this end we invite specialists, literally at the farmer's table, during our online event: Sustainability on the move. Take a look and help us further in this movement.
For 175 years we have been pioneering in grain for tasty, healthy & sustainable food. Our 175 years of existence has shown us the importance of future-proofing food, people and the environment. Every grain is bursting with valuable nutrients and we dive right to the core to come up with innovative products and solutions that benefit everyone.
Tuesday, July 6 at 10:00 am CET we will (literally) sit down with an arable farmer, together with all the chain partners, for an online broadcast about the possibilities of sustainability. Take a look! And do you have an initiative to help us further in this movement? Get in touch with us via: e.wieten@royalkoopmans.nl
Sustainability: greenwashing or added value? We ask the arable farmer, collector, food producer and baker.
