Coronavirus: protective measures

In order to achieve the best possible balance between maximal customer service, minimum risk of contamination, and optimum delivery reliability, we have appointed a Corona core team. This team of specialists from different disciplines of our organization, takes all necessary measures to be able to continue to deliver & support you. We assure you: the production runs well and we will continue to monitor this with our measures. Do you have any questions or need help? Our team of account managers, sales support and baking technical advisors is at your service! You can reach them by phone, email or WhatsApp. In addition, your account manager will contact you shortly for any questions about our Corona measures.

For our Corona measures we follow the guidelines of the RIVM. We continuously update these guidelines if the situation or reporting requires it. Keep an eye on our website for the most up-to-date information.

• Royal Koopmans does not receive visitors. Only employees and necessary experts who keep operational matters running will be admitted.
• KIEM sessions or other meetings at Royal Koopmans have been cancelled and will be moved to a moment to be determined. As soon as more information is available, you will receive a personal message from your account manager.
• Employees of Royal Koopmans do not visit clients or business relations.
• Visiting appointments of account managers and/or bakery advisors have been cancelled and will be moved to a moment to be determined. As soon as more information is available, you will receive a personal message from your account manager.

Our drivers will continue to deliver your ordered products with the greatest possible care. This does not change. Again, our drivers will take your unloading situation into account, only they will avoid any physical contact and will not enter your warehouse and/or production area.

Our production and delivery have not been hindered to date. Our team has a good production level, which means that the products are available at the usual level. It is not necessary to order extra stock. In this way you help us and your fellow bakers and producers to guarantee continuity, and prevent defects and delivery problems.

• Before entering the Royal Koopmans premises, drivers must disinfect their hands in the driver's lodge.
• Drivers are not allowed to enter the factory.
• Incoming goods will only be unloaded by employees of Royal Koopmans.

• Employees who are able to work from home because of their position, are requested to work from home as much as possible.
• Employees who have to be in the office or factory because of their work, work in shadow teams. Teams are split up, so that there are always enough backup colleagues in case of a calamity.
• Employees with colds or elevations above 38.0 degrees Celsius are requested to contact their general practitioner. They stay at home as a precaution.
• Employees who have been in contact with persons who may be infected with the coronavirus should report this immediately to their manager. They will stay at home as a precaution.
• In order to prevent the spread of the virus, we have:
  • Intensified company cleaning
  • Additional hygiene equipment provided by the whole company
  • Hygiene protocols drawn up for drivers and contractors
  • The factory is closed to all external persons, including our own employees who are not required in the factory.
