Batters

Demand for products with a delicious crispy crust is growing. The basic product must, of course, stay tender and retain all of its good qualities. Our batters take care of this! They connect the base product with the crumb or independently create a tasty crispy top layer.

A balanced mix

The batters are meticulously composed of a balanced mix of flour and other functional ingredients. The pure grain kernel is the starting point. Natural extras such as spices are added depending on the customer's wishes. The ingredients are carefully mixed in our state-of-the-art mixing plant. This process creates batters with strong adhesive properties in many varieties: adhesion batters, cohesion batters, functional batters and flavoured or coloured batters.

We offer more than 100 types of batters, suitable for enriching chicken, other types of meat, fish, snacks, vegetables, vegetarian and potato products. As an adhesive with a high protein content, it forms the perfect bridge between the basic product and the crumb.

The basic product stays very tender, and the batter can also increase the product size. As a layer of dough, the batter itself, without the crumbs, creates a delicious crispy crust around, for example, fish or chicken, while maintaining the valuable properties of the basic product.

In addition to the existing batters in our assortment, we are constantly developing new and surprising tailor-made batters that are suitable for special applications. One example is our Anti-Leak Batter, also known as the FryLess concept, which ensures a crispy end product after preparation in an oven or airfryer.
